(This is the only strictly savory option on the list.) But this is definitely one you’ve got to try. Whoever had the idea to put pumpkin seeds in salsa was a crazy, brilliant genius because it totally works. Seriously, you will be looking for excuses to eat this stuff up.

Of course we couldn’t just have ONE Trader Joe’s treat on the list here, so here’s another crowd-pleaser for you: their pumpkin and waffle mix. Basically, if you go through October and November without making pumpkin-flavored pancakes or waffles, then you are guilty of a Class C misdemeanor. (That’s a joke — but then again, so is going an entire fall season without pumpkin flavored pancakes and waffles.) Grab yourself one of these mixes on Amazon before they’re all gone!
Harvest Kringle from O&H Bakery
All right, stepping away from the pumpkin craze for just a minute, here’s another treat you’ve got to try: the Harvest Kringle from O&H Bakery. This seasonal favorite out of Wisconsin (yet another treat from Wisconsin!) is only available in September and October, so you'll have to act fast if you want one delivered to your door. Just try to get through this description without drooling: crisp, juicy apples sprinkled with cinnamon and baked with toffee bits. Even if you have no Danish blood in your veins, this kringle will have you exclaiming “lækker!” (Which we hope means “delicious,” if Google translate did its job correctly.)
Chocolate Chip Walnut Cookies from Levain Bakery
Though not technically a “fall” treat specifically, the world famous chocolate chip walnut cookies from Levain Bakery are absolutely worthy of a spot on this list. Since it can be difficult to make the trip out to New York to grab one fresh out of the oven, buying them online is your next best option. (There are several copycat recipes out there, but you’ve got to try the real thing!)

This is where we had a little trouble narrowing things down because Harry & David are definitely the kings of food gifts. And fall is where they really shine. Take your pick from their pumpkin-shaped gift basket, their harvest truffles, their meat and cheese samplers, and more. You can even order a deep-dish pumpkin pie. Whew. You may need to loosen that belt, but it’ll be worth it.
